Childhood trauma for your feet

Remember when you were eleven, when your grandmother knitted you a sweater for Christmas that you absolutely hated but your mother made you wear it anyway? You know, that itchy old thing with the ridiculous reindeer on it that, despite its inherent cheesiness, at least ensured that you wouldn’t have to endure the indignity of wearing it past December? Well, the designers at Report have turned that sweater into a pair of kicky wooden slides.

No need to thank them... Your humiliation is thanks enough.

I know this is wrong in a number of ways (not the least of which is the sweater/peep-toe combination because WTF?) but I, er ... kind of dig them.

I actually like the carved heel. Would have been nice with a plain leather upper.

The carved heel can only be described as "yucky" but the sweater girl in me sort of digs the knit and the reindeer. Sorry. But your sweater commentary puts me in mind of the Bridget Jones movies and the awful Christmas sweaters (or "jumpers") that Darcy and Jones get stuck wearing.
